About HelloOlivia
HelloOlivia exists for students who want real coaching, not passive video libraries. We combine American-style clarity (direct feedback, weekly structure) with Chinese-learning-friendly support (vocabulary logging, patient explanation loops) so you know what to fix and when.
What We Actually Do
Band-Target Planning
We map your current level to your institution’s or visa’s requirements, then break that gap into weekly speaking and writing targets—not vague “study more.”
Live Instruction
Coaches run speaking and writing sessions with immediate correction. You practice under time pressure similar to the real exam.
Progress Accountability
Assignments, session cadence, and vocabulary review are visible in the student dashboard so momentum is easy to see—and hard to ignore.
Who We Serve
- Students aiming for university admission (usually IELTS Academic)
- Candidates on migration or work pathways (often General Training)
- Families who want transparent plans, clear attendance expectations, and a written refund framework (see refund policy)
Coaching Principles
- Clarity before complexity — master task response and coherence before chasing rare vocabulary.
- Feedback over repetition — every hour of practice should end with named errors to fix next time.
- Consistency wins — fixed weekly touchpoints beat occasional cramming.
Delivery Model
- Live online sessions
- Bilingual learning context where helpful
- Speaking + writing emphasis
- Dashboard + vocabulary log
- Refund policy with documented conditions
Frequently asked questions
Is HelloOlivia affiliated with IELTS or the British Council?
No. We are an independent preparation provider. IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP, and Cambridge. We do not represent them.
Do you only teach speaking?
Speaking and writing are core because they are the hardest to improve alone—but plans include structured work across all four skills aligned to your target band.
Where are coaches based?
Operations and student support are run from Ocala, Florida. Sessions are online so students can join from anywhere with a stable connection.
